DAY 1 – Arusha City
Accommodation: Mt Meru Hotel
Pick up at the Airport, after greetings drive back to Arusha for an overnight at Mount Meru Hotel. Situated at the foothills of Mount Meru in the city of Arusha, Tanzania, the Mount Meru Hotel lies on 9 acres of lush landscape, surrounded by some of Africa’s most breath-taking vistas, rich with a diverse array of wildlife, etched against the fertile slopes of this beautiful mountain.
Arusha is a city in northern Tanzania, the capital of the Arusha Region. The city of Arusha is surrounded by some of Africa's most famous landscapes and national parks. Situated below Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley, Arusha has a temperate climate. The city is close to Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro and The Arusha National Park on Mount Meru terrains.
DAYS 2&3 Cultural Tour of Maasai village of Kiserian
Accommodation: Standard Mobile Tent.
After breakfast, take the picturesque drive to the founder of Future Warriors Project, SiangaKuyan’s home Maasai village of Kiserian – a secret, un-touched spot, so tiny and remote most people don’t know it exists! On arrival, enjoy a bush lunch in the wilderness, while our guide explains the history of Maasai people and teaches you your first words in Maa before introducing you to many of Sianga’s family members.
In the evening you will have the opportunity to eat traditionally-roasted meat and experience the haunting rhythms of Maasai singing and dancing. In the morning, wake up early to the sounds of nature, and take a chance to embark on a walking safari through the Maasai plans, escorted by a local Maasai warrior. On return, eat a leisurely breakfast at the campsite before being invited to have tea with the local women. During the day, get a taste of authentic, traditional Maasai life and learn about how the local people go about their daily lives. Back to Arusha later afternoon and over night at the Mount Meru Hotel.
DAY 4 – Arusha to Tarangire & Manyara N.P
Drive through Tarangire National Park for a half day of game drive, Named for the river that runs through thepark, animals migrate into Tarangire seeking water during the dry season. Large herds of elephants along withresident game including giraffe, buffalo, waterbuck and much more are readily seen. Tarangire is famous for its magnificent baobab trees, and a landscape with vegetation that is very diverse. Picnic lunches will be enjoyed in the park. Late afternoon depart to Lake Manyara National park to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge. F/B
DAY 5–Manyara to Serengeti N.P: Bougainvillea Safari Lodge
After breakfast at the lodge, depart for the Serengeti Plains National Park via Olduvai Gorge, boasting a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of the 'Nutcracker Man' and 'Handy Man', both very significant links in the chain of human evolution.
Following this visit, descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains,rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Take a picnic lunch in the heart of the park and game drive en-route and later drive to Kati Kati Tented Camp for Dinner and Overnight. F/B
DAY 6–Serengeti N.P: Kati Kati Tented Camp
Another full day of game drive at Serengeti endless plains, you will either return to the Camp for hot lunch or decide to take the picnic lunch. Dinner and Overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp
DAY 7–Serengeti- Ngorongoro N.P:-Kati Kati Tented Camp
Morning of game drive at Serengeti NP and then drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with picnic lunch, Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge .F/B
DAY 8–Ngorongoro-N.P: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge
Following a very early breakfast, descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded wildlife areas in the world, home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year-round water supply andfodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest,zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque National Park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever elusive leopard.
Lunch will be at the Nkoitoktok picnic site and later evening ascent the crater for Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House. F/B
DAY 9–Ngorongoro-N.P: NGORONGORO FARM HOUSE
After breakfast drive back to Arusha en-route souvenir shops and the transfer to the Airport for your flight back.
