  • Ghanaian music and dance is full of expression relating to life as it exists in Ghana. In Ghana, music and dance are part of everyday life and will be heard and seen everywhere. In Ghanaian culture, their way of life is reflected and portrayed through the movements and rhythms used in music, dance, and song.

3 Day Babati & Hanang Cultural Tour


Babati & Hanang Babati district is located along the Arusha Dodoma road in the Rift Valley, South of Lake Manyara Park and West of Tarangire. In both Babati and the nearby Hanang district. The people follow their tribal culture and traditions closely and visitors can mix freely with them to observe their lifestyle. The area has a rich birdlife with over 400 species.

Day 1: Pick-up from the host family/hotel or Airport in Dar es Salaam and drive to Arusha with packed lunch boxes. It about full day trip.

Day 2: You walk to Managhat village and climb Bambaay Hill from where you see the beautiful Rift Valley landscape with Lake Babati and Lake Manyara and the Maasai Steppe to the east. Later, visit a respected Gorowa tribesman, Mzee Kwaraa, for an insight on Gorowa culture, marriage ceremonies, rain prayers, burial, religious and circumcision rituals. Optionally, you can row, fish and view hippos on Lake Babati using local canoes.
